We are renovating our kitchen, so I was looking for new standalone range ovens. Was going to get a Wolf or Thermador but the looks don't seem to quite match the price and performances based on many reviews.

Saw this range oven on Costco's website. This is Samsung's flagship range oven right now. Regular price is $3300. Costco has it for $2500 + tax. Shipping is free. Most reviews seem glowing. Wifi to tell you if the oven or stove is on. Dual oven. Blue LED to indicate if the stove is on. It also a very high power 22,000 BTU Dual Burner which is higher than the 36" Wolfs with a rack for wok.

Buy with your Costco Visa card will also extend warranty 2 additional years, so 4 years total.

jeebus... so pricey for a range... but i suppose it is the brain child of samsung and dacor (samsung owns Dacor now)
i checked out this model in BestBuy
the 22K burner is really hefty when you lift up the elements, much heftier than the 18K burner on other models

im thikning of just getting this

18K BTU might be all my range hood can handle with the amount of oil and smoke...
$1500 with wifi and dual oven is a good deal too if you are ok with freestanding and lesser BTU

We actually need a 36in pro style range. The name brands like Monogram, Wolf, etc all run $5000 plus. Wish Samsung will make a 36 in.

Saw this at Costco this past weekend. Definitely one of the nicest non-commercial slide-in 30" ranges. If your kitchen is aesthetically up to par with a beautiful hood, backsplash, countertop and other up to par appliances I would splurge and go for it. If you have a standard upgraded kitchen with a microwave above, maybe not. We are doing some reno in a new house we are moving into, but plan to keep it semi-modest. This would be overkill for me. Wish there were cheaper GE or Samsung 5 burner slide-in ranges in the $1200-1300 range.

I looked at that model. Ended getting https://www.ajmadison.com/cgi-bin/ajmadison/F6PGR304S1.html?mv_pc=fr&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cs... [ajmadison.com] Also AJ Madison is running a promotion to give a big discount on a Zephyr hood.

We ended up getting the range for $3300 (unadvertised price) and Zephyr Venezia hood https://www.ajmadison.com/cgi-bin...E30CS.html for $300. That's slick.
