Good deal for this projector. Tax free for most.

Also $450 on Amazon, but most likely with taxes.

Since this is refurbished, I wonder how much bulb has been used.

Have another epson powerhome or something model. Paid like 1100 over 5 or 6 yrs ago.

Still runs like a champ on original bulb. Not a primary tv, but sees action 1x a week usually for 3 hrs.

I am new to Projector buying!! This one doesn't seem to be 3D. Is it worth buying a 3D projector? How does this compare with Benqs TH670 etc.?

I have a dark media room, so ambient light is not an issue.

I don't see any warranty info and then there is this
Note: Epson does not accept returns on refurbished items except if product arrives defective, in which case, we will provide a replacement with the same model or equivalent. This unit may not include the same software or paper pack as new models.

I was going yo get one and see if it would fit my setup satisfactorily but no returns rules that out.

My home theater room is a rectangle shape. The mounting position is more toward to the end oflong side. In that case, the image from Epson 2030 will be too big and out of my screen. We move about a feet forward to make it fit into the screen.

I had my epson 2045 for a few months now and I never use the 3D. Just too much of a hassle even if I'm the only one watching. I wear glasses so it might not be good advice.

Hi. Been following this thread for 4 days now. I bought this projector but am having 2nd thoughts. My projector will be 19 feet from the wall with ambient light:

https://urlhasbeenblocked/photos/SPqXt7y3kCp1R3cdA

Link above shows my living room. The wall on the left will host the screen. and projector is 19 feet away against other wall.No direct sunlight but about 6-8 windows around.

Will this projector work or shall i go for the EPSON 1040? Any recommendations on the screen i need to make this work?

thanks everyone
