Chemical Guys [chemicalguys.com] description:

Stand back and behold the massive suds release with the new TORQ MaxFoam 8 Foam Cannon! The new and improved Max Foam 8 TORQ Professional Foam Cannon produces 30% thicker suds, features the patent-pending threadlock seal system, and works with a wider range of pressure washer designs. The TORQ Foam Cannon Max Foam 8 cleans any vehicle with concentrated foam power. The TORQ Foam Cannon sprays thick foam that sticks to and lubricates rough dirt particles, and prevents swirls and scratches with every wipe. Thick snow foam helps remove dirt from even the smallest cracks and crevices, and is the perfect way to reduce swirl marks and maintain a flawless finish at every car wash. The TORQ Foam Cannon is built with the highest quality materials for heavy duty use with any pressure washer. Solid brass components resist corrosion and rusting that ruins cheap imitation parts, and high quality plastics reject harmful UV rays that cause cheaper units to crack and break. Upgraded internal designs make the TORQ Max Foam 8 Foam Cannon produce more soapy suds with lower-spec pressure washers down to just 800 PSI. TORQ engineers fitted every Foam Cannon with a large 32 oz. fluid tank and fully-adjustable sprayer nozzle to ensure full foam coverage on any vehicle, large or small. Poorly designed cheaper foam cannons have bare brass threads that tear up soap bottles over time. The TORQ MaxFoam 8 Foam Cannon is refined with a plastic insulation sleeve on the threads, which saves bottles from early wear and tear. The unique air-injection system combines the perfect amount of car wash shampoo, water, and oxygen to create thick soapy foam that clings to any vehicle's paintwork. Snap the new TORQ Professional Foam Cannon MaxFoam 8 onto any pressure washer, and turn a normal car wash into a fun foam bubblebath!

Note, this may not work well with low pressure electric pressure washers. They now make a version (EQP321) suitable for pressure as low as 500 PSI.

Nope, Same one different bottle. the bottle on the cheap one breaks/splits at the threads. I just replaced with a bottle laying around and has worked great for 2 seasons

I have this cannon and a Gilmour II foam gun. while this is a great product I find myself always going back to the cheap Gilmour. I guess since it's less work for me to just get the water hose, attached the Gilmour and suds away. this cannon is awesome though for anyone looking to get into a cannon at a good price.

Off topic, but what do you guys use to clean your cars? I have the chemical guys honeydew soap/foam and the layer of dirt is still stuck to my car. It doesn't clean like the nerta's active diamond foam found in several youtubes video. That stuff just cuts into the dirt.

Thanks for the insight. I may pick up a Gilmour as well for those quick washes. TU.

Let the foam sit on the car for five mintues then hand wash with the two bucket method. Using the foam gun alone only works when your car isnt very dirty.

I use chemical guys maxi suds II in the Gilmour foam gun with their wash mitt. I presoak my car with the maxi suds and let it sit for about 5 minutes. Fill a 5 gallon bucket with clean water and put a grit guard for rinsing. I'll rinse the car then fill the foam gun again with more maxi suds and spray a section at a time. I start with the roof and work my way down. I'll spray a small section, work it with a chemical guys wash mitt then move on. I'll rinse the wash mitt in the bucket of clean water after each section. Sometimes I'll use multiple wash mitts depending on how dirty my car is. After the wash I'll use Pinnacles Diamond wash and wax spray for a quick detailer.
