Free T-Mobile SIM card with new plan. Call 855-389-9733, mention promo code: APRILSWAP per https://swappa.com/buy/devices/t-mobile

Use that pre-paid card quickly if canceling lines, T-Mobile has been know to cancel pre-paid cards on closed lines (not that they have a legal right to, they have anyways).
The above is a complete load of crap.

You can use the Pre-paid card to buy a money order (with the pin)... USPS or even walmart, if doing it at walmart, swipe card than have them put in amount you are paying on that card... if your side shows processing, hit cancel and than debit. if the system goes straight to signature, something is being done wrong.

Max spend on card is amount of card up to 12 transactions or $1500 a day, so if you have a card for $1750, you will need to use the card over 2 days to use it up.

Tmo Press Release [t-mobile.com]

*Update April 18 - As of 4/1, the following free add-ons have been removed and are no longer offered with this plan: 10GB LTE hotspot, HD video streaming or double (256k/sec instead of 128k/sec) international data roaming included. You also can't get the 20% employee referral discount anymore

(4/18) IMO, you should wait to switch to T-Mobile, as these four perks above made the plan great and they're now gone. Wait until the next round of promos is announced, hopefully in the next few weeks.

No more HD Passes
https://twitter.com/SievertMike/s...8727443463

old faq showed you lose all free lines if changing to the all in plan. faq showed moving from 2 free lines to $130 for 4 lines ($30 discount) and $150 from 1 free line ($10 discount). the faq was removed Friday (or before Friday) and is available if cached somewhere on the internet, or someone can add it to the wiki (maybe).

if you switch to this new plan you will lose the 2 free lines you got last year around november, end of the story.

UPDATE: if you have the original t-mobile one plan you can now add the t-mobile one plus promo(10gb hotspot) in when you click to manage add-ons, not sure if is a glitch of the system or what but it did work for me, please note that i am posting this 02/22

Noticed this was not in the Wiki so figured Id add it. I used this code when i called and it worked!
Free T-Mobile SIM card with new plan. Call 855-389-9733, mention promo code: 317SWAP.

If you got charged for the SIM Card at the store and can't get the rep to give if for free -
- call this # 1.800.937.8997 and plead your case
- the amount +tax will be credited back to your account
- it helps to get the account setup first so you can see the credit in your account - almost immediately

Does T-Mobile Autopay accept credit cards? Verizon threw in a curveball and excluded credit cards from their autopay, however nothing would prevent you paying off the bill with a credit card before autopay draws from the accountWink
Yes, T-Mobile Autopay accepts credit cards

You can also get $10 back per paid line if that line uses less than 2 GB of data per month by signing up for kickback. Details here:

I asked but they said it's supposed to be $400 for 12 lines before AutoPay, which has a cap or $40.
For 12 lines with all lines getting KB, the math works like this:

$400 - $40 AP - $120 KB = $240 x 0.8 HU = $192.
That is pretty good. mine is a lot higher than that.

For 12 lines the bill shows 9 lines + 3 standalone line.
They have this billing problem where the standalone lines do not get the hookup discount.

this is why i love my tmobile plan $75 UNL + $25 INTL addon for UNL 4G LTE Hotspot

I also don't ever get my data prioritized so I'm happy. This is my usage every billing cycle.

Have 2 accounts, 1 with 8 lines (1 free) and the other with 7 lines (1 free) both with hook up discounts.

They FINALLY got the billing correctly for 7 lines account ($135 including 1 line with $15 international calling plan and 5 lines getting kick back).

8 line accounts is still screwed up with each month getting worse and worse.. At LEAST I use facebook messages.

Guys! Stand on our grand, the 20% off should be applied to the whole account, not only to a part of it!

I was pissed off by Tmo's retention/loyalty department, after multiple-hour phone calls in the past a few days (excluding another a few calls over the past 4 months).

From them, the finally decision was the 20% off could be only applied to the core 9 lines, and it needs to be applied to after all autopay, kick-back, free-line, discounts.

I though i was done with Tmo, thanks to their "dishonesty" and not fulfilling the term/contract.

Things turned 180 after I had a long message-conversation on twitter (@tmobilehelp). Multiple reps got involved, finally one of their "experts" told me the reason why there had been short of the discount was that 20% off had never applied to my 10th-12th lines. She got it applied/corrected, and promised that I should be fine "forever".
I do want to believe that, and can't wait to see what will be on my very next statement.

We will see by the end of August, and I will keep posted.

The "right" calculation:
$400 for a 12-line family plan (all voice lines, the core 9-line $310, plus $30 x 3)
-$30 (for a free additional line)
-$40 (autopay discount)
***All of above makes 12 lines to $330
Then -$10 x line number (lines get kick-back)
after all discounts above settles, then the 20% off (hookup discount) gets applied
(basically we'd get $8 kick-back each line <2gb data usage, I am not so sure if/when T-mobile changed this part, I do recall I got kick-back applied after 20% off for a couple of months before.)

***Hey, if any information helps you out of this hookup-discount mess, please give me a rep. Thanks for sharing as always.

Any chance that they'll offer this again (with the HD Streaming and the 10GB Hotspot)?
