I already purchased this this year. Can anyone confirm if I can buy it again to get a second state. paying $40 for an extra State seems like a rip-off considering I can get both for 20.

Technically speaking the other deal is also for $20 with $10 off buying through Alexa. But I think it is a good idea starting another thread for non-Alexa folks.

Just a quick note, you do still have to pay for a single state.

Not everybody falls into the free filing income bracket. Not everyone has an easy tax return.

Yes you need to buy the software for each additional state. $40 + $20 per state to efile. I ended up spending over $100 for two states + fed

Exactly why I hope the IRS is dismantled and all its bureaucratic leeches fired.

It's Congress who writes tax law--you're angry at the wrong people. And Intuit and H&R continue to leech from all of us by lobbying Congress at every opportunity not to simplify the tax code.

Still worth $20, though.

In, but I'm not getting as much in refunds as I think I should. Thanks Obama.

I think you mean Congress. The IRS does not create the tax code. This is a common misconception, especially among the far right.

There's noting wrong with the IRS. What other business or organization can bring in $7 for every $1 put into the system [irs.gov]?
