Save $20 with coupon MKPLN1

Regular price $99.95 ($95.55 on Amazon right now) Sale price $79.95+FS.

I've used this personally on an Explorer 4.0L with a completely dead flat battery, and it fired it right up.

I have the GB40 and have been very pleased with it. It did its thing on the long-dead battery on a car that had been sitting for 2 years. It took 2 days to run its cycle, but the battery came to life and has been starting fast for a year now. I let it tender a battery whenever I leave it idle for a season, and it does that well, also.

Not that it matters, but I recall the packaging being pretty slick, such that I kept the box. I have a thing for boxes, ok? So don't judge.

Oh great, you posted it. I was waiting for a VCO/MP/Amex coupon for Pres.Day which would drop to $55-70. All Hopes Gone Frown

The $20 off GB40, $50 off GB70 is common deal on NE.

BTW the GB40 isn't enough to power a 6.0L w/ a dead batt. Might work on 4.0L as stated by OP.

Battery:
24 Watt-Hour Lithium-Ion (2162mAh @11.1v) or
6666.66mAh (Cheap chinese knockoffs equivalent rating of 3.6v)

I dont have this brand, but I paid around the same. If you have an old car that sometimes needs a jump. These thing' are a serious life saver.

Ive also started using usb lights more often and this thing is great to have for that as well.

Sure? I have this and it has:
1-Started my 6 cylinder grand cherokee with no battery.

2-Started my 6L Hummer H2 with a battery that had zero starting power and mostly damaged cells.

Not sure you have a different experience but mine has been fantastic and I've used multiple portable jumpers.

Trying to get a price match now.

Update: Damn amazon and their no price match poilcy, waiting for my boost batteries to be delivered today and then I'll do a bulk return. Already ordered replacements from newegg.

I'm sure this is a good product but if you are getting it because you worry about just one car, please please just spend the money on a new car battery. If you are in a position to need to jump other's cars a lot (like you are a security professional who frequently is also called on to help commuters) then this is a good buy. If you work on a lot of cars that seem to end up with dead batteries, you probably should be using trickle chargers more (they are really cheap and better for the battery than letting it sit flat). If you are changing alternators (for a living or not) its really important that you NOT jump the car to get it started (since the battery is probably running low from not charging) since that can stress the new alternator and cause it to fail again prematurely.
