It uses a Sony sensor...its great for use in gloomy conditions but also works during daylight sunny hours. This thing is a machine...and in these times, I would waste no time in getting security put out.

In these times? What, a camera is going to stop the rise of a dictator? Or global warming?

Lol I wish!
But there's a lot of vandalism going on in our area due to political issues.

Similar cameras from other brands [aliexpress.com] (extremely similar!) run about $40 to $60 cheaper.

That sucks. I've had neighbors catch both video and stills of thieves stealing packages off their porches, one breaking into a garage, and they've proven to be more of a souvenir than law enforcement aid. One neighbor even caught a partial plate of a hit & run (of a parked car). It seems that the police aren't much interested in property crime.

Rip off.
I really like to know a few people who actually buy this. I have a lot to sell to them!

Either the people aren't complaining properly or some police officers need to be fired. What about alternative methods like complain to HOA and get gates or cameras put in?
