I did this deal in the past. No, you cannot transfer balance to another Barclay card. That's the rule at any bank.

It looks like Chase Slate is 15 months as well right now, Barclaycard has the potential to have a lower APR after the introductory period, variable APR of 13.49% compared to a variable APR of 15.49%, 21.24% or 24.24% on the Slate card.

Any expiration date on this offer? I have a couple of other transfer offers that expire in May and August. Would like to transfer money from those 2 end of April to maximize the 15 months? I love using CC companies money for free!

If you care about that you probably shouldn't have cards in the first place

Our current slate offer on my wife's account runs through end of Sept 2017.
I figured when that runs out I'd end up paying some kind of transfer fee, or something to get it off because there are so few 0% no fee offers.

Trying to figure how I can use this now to "kick the can" another year down the road.
If I went ahead and signed up, I could prob BT to my BofA debit card and have Barclay send them a check to "pay it off", and then basically just hold that cash a few months and in Sept, pay off whats left on slate, and this offer would carry me till May 2018, at which time I could BT back to a new slate in MY name????

It's just me being a tightwad and thinking I am getting a better deal even if I am getting screwed by a large interest rate lol

Would also like to know if there's an expiration on this offer. I need something in September, considering the 45 days to transfer, this still only gets me to April >__<
