Since the cloud subscription and Ring Chime are $30 each, this seems like a pretty good deal. Dontknow

They were significantly cheaper over the holidays but no one has a time machine and that's a good deal for now especially with the cloud subscription.

Know the reviews are very mixed. We have this model and the only issue is false motion alarms with large trucks passing in the street or the day after a significant temperature change outside. Think because it uses infrared for motion detection the ground air temperature throws it off as that's one thing we noticed. Otherwise really, slick I've used it many times to talk to people when they ring the doorbell. Last week had a repairman show up early and told him I'd be home in 10 minutes.

If we can only find a deal on that time machine. laugh out loud Although this also includes the Ring Chime in addition to the Cloud subscription, so you can have the doorbell ring in a once hard to hear area of your house (or have a backup bell).

I agree. I'll take the false alarm notifications for how great it works.

So for those who have purchased it. How do you get the 1 year cloud storage. I didnt see a paper for it in the package. Does it automatically know that i purchased it at costco and will sync up with in a day or two with my 1 year subscription? Can i go ahead and sign up for the 30 day trial so it can start recording now?

In product description I don't see any mention of 1 yr cloud recording included. It says 30 days trial included and after that $3 per month

I'd call Costco or even ask Ring (who actually has decent customer service) and tell Ring you purchased it at Costco with the free year of cloud storage and I bet they know.

When you get it running it knows you have the 1 year. This will appear in the app when you set it up.

Mine was fine but my wifi is spotty at the front door so I'm going to try the chime pro. If that doesn't work I'm returning it. When it worked it was pretty cool. There is a delay to connect to my phone so usually I can see the recorded video of the event rather than real time. Hopefully the chime pro fixes this.

How do you claim the one year cloud subscription, any one know?

I just bought this at the local Cosco for $169.99 but found no instructions to claim the one year subscription.
