Xbox One Elite Controller at Costco $99.97

At local Costco in NJ, they currently have the Xbox One Elite Controller for $99.97. In store only , the online site is still reflecting the $119 price.

This is their best price since the xmas season, where they had it for the same. Good deal considering Costcos warranty applies to this as well.

What does Costco's warranty cover exactly? I'm debating if I should buy this from Best Buy or Costco since Best Buy offer their 2 year geek squad protection.

Thanks! Only reason I ask is because I know these controller have lots of issues with the paddles or joysticks.

it USED to be a lifetime (of product) return policy; but I thought they changed it to within a years of purchase because of abuse? and you know there were douchebags abusing such a generous return policy

From the website:
Quote :
On Merchandise: We guarantee your satisfaction on every product we sell, and will refund your purchase price, with the following exceptions:
Electronics: Costco will accept returns within 90 days (from the date member received merchandise) for Televisions, Tuner-Free Displays, Projectors, Major Appliances, Computers, Touchscreen Tablets, Cameras, Camcorders, MP3 players and Cellular Phones.
I don't see anything about consoles or controllers. It also doesn't say anything about opened games, movies, etc. My guess is that Costco would take returns on the controller unless you are a serial abuser of the policy or the controller is in really, really rough shape.

It's member satisfaction. So if it messes up within 6 months (just an example) they will return it, but if you do it 6 years later fully expect a no.

FYI, you can price match this at Best Buy if you don't have a Costco membership, just show them the picture in the OP. I did this in December when they had it for $99. I got lucky since BB gave you Titanfall 2 for free with a purchase of an Elite controller.

Thanks for the suggestion! Just price matched at BB and got their 2 year protection plan for extra $14.99 (would have been $19.99 before price match adjustment). Never used their protection plans in the past but from what I read this controller can be perfect or can have some issues with certain parts getting loose.

That's a VERY YMMV - anything marked with the * is a deleted/clearance item for that store. Anything ending in .97 price is a manager markdown at that store only.

was going to purchase one of these for win10 pc gaming but checked Amazon reviews and people say the buttons become loose or not as responsive after about a year? meanwhile my $30 xbox 360 controllers are going on 5+ years and still work great..

What makes this controller worth $100? With 20% of Amazon buyers giving 1 star reviews due to poor quality/craftsmanship...is this just a cash grab?

Never had an issue with mine, and I bought it day 1. Love it.

Love it so far also. I play a lot of Xbox though so was worth it. Makes everything so much more comfortable. You can always try it and return it if you don't like it. It's definitely not a need to have item obviously.

Also I'm in Florida and was able to price match easily. I just called Costco asked what price they had and it was same as the op. Supposedly they are selling them all and won't carry any more
