I hated my Nest. The auto away would freak out and was definitely not a smart function. I have this Honeywell and I've been much happier with it. The interface is easy to use and the app works well. Personally I would choose the Honeywell over the Nest.

This might also qualify for the $100 Mass Save rebate for Massachusetts residents.

I have a much older Honeywell (Filtrete) wifi thermostat and the interface is TERRIBLE. This one looks like a few generations newer, but usually when a company is crummy with interfaces, it's the same forever. Just my two cents on the company in general.

I also work with Honeywell closed-circuit TV software and it's almost as bad.

They make decent equipment and deliver it with a crummy software package.

so for an extra $100 than my green chrome one I get color and humidity display? It does look prettier, but no thanks. Ill stick with my mono chrome unit which uses same app. I rarely touch the thermostat itself, just use the app which is great!

They need to have more wireless thermostats that can communicate to each other so that you can install more thermostats in rooms that don't have wires

I have this model and I love it. No issue with it or what-so-ever. I would recommend it. If you are installing it somewhere behind any walls, make sure to connect it to your 2.4ghz wi-if channel.
