Yeah I'm pretty sure the movies were a couple dollars a pop on Black Friday.

4K is better but not earth shattering better IMHO. The difference between DVD and BD was awesome.

Don't get me wrong, I like the movies themselves just fine.

Maybe you don't have a big enough TV. The difference between 4K and 1080P on my 65" screen is breathtaking.

If you redeem on Flixster, not if you redeem on Vudu.

Also includes iTunes HD copy.

In case anyone is curious, here is the breakdown of the four films:

Hunger Games - 2K final master so not "real" 4K
Catching Fire - 4K final master (from film) so "real" 4K
Mockingjay P1 - 4K final master but shot w/ 2.8K camera so "almost" 4K
Mockingjay P2 - 4K final master but shot w/ 2.8K camera so "almost" 4K

Having said that, these films look great with the added detail and presence of HDR. Nice deal!

Thanks! Hate that Vudu doesn't redeem their stuff in 4k yet Flixter does, but Vudu is better for buying stuff ughh.

Catching Fire ports to Vudu in UHD, the others apparently not yet.
