Hey guys, previous deals were expired so I thought I would post again. Looks like deal is back Smilie
Amazon has a Class 10 Sandisk 64GB micro SD card for $16 with free shipping (Prime)
This one is a bit different from other cards because it's "certified" to work with your Fire TV, whatever that means...

https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-mi...%2Btv&th=1
Enjoy
(First deal, please be kind)

UHS Speed Class

The next rating is the UHS Speed Class. This stands for Ultra High Speed and refers to minimum sustained writing performance for recording video. UHS came about due to 4K-capable video devices needing faster write speeds.

The SD Association has two UHS Speed Classes, UHS Speed Class 1 and UHS Speed Class 3. UHS Speed Class 1 supports a minimum 10MB/s write speed, whereas UHS Speed Class 3 supports at least 30MB/s write speed. The UHS Speed Class is denoted by either a 1 or 3 inside of a bucket U symbol. ***As a rule of thumb, 4K-capable camcorders will usually require at least a U3 rated SD card.***

4.5 stars out of 5 and over 6000 reviews. Fulfilled by Amazon Digital. Should be ok.

Is it real? Every single micro SD I have gotten in the last 6 months has been fake. Very well done fakes too. Almost can't tell the difference between the fake and real except for the fact that the card doesn't work. Packing, logos, and all.

They're not even the whatever-gig lower capacity types either. Used to be that the fakes were actually a couple gigs but the latest ones have 1MB (yes, one megabyte) of usable space. Complete trash.

I bought the last samsung deal and sandisk deal from same amazon seller and mine are both legit.

This is sold by amazon digital so highly unlikely you will get a fake. If by whatever minuscule chance it is a fake, they will ship you a new one ASAP.

Ebay is higher risk (unless its a real store selling) and amazon 3rd parties have some risk too.

Read about inventory co-mingling at Amazon. You'll change your mind. Also, fulfilled by Amazon only means Amazon handles shipping. Doesn't actually sell the product. Not that it matters because of co-mingling: any seller can send a fake, it gets mixed with other stock, then possibly gets sold even by Amazon.

All true, but the chances of this happening on a "made for amazon" product is much less. Amazon is the only seller.

Are they still doing it? I remember it was a big issue a couple of years ago.

hey, i just bought this last time around... seemed legitimate packaging.

however, i notice when formatted it is 59gb...which i understand you're never at max capacity

but when i tried to image the nachos 64gb retropi image (.img) on it, it says its not big enough

now obviously nacho's image is used by many people - so do i need to format in a special way or is it possible this specific disk is not living up to the full capacity? I mean surely many other people are using the nachos retropi image and putting it on 64gb MSD cards, so what's the issue?
