Breville Smart Oven Air (BOV900BSSUSC) - $309.95 @ Williams & Sonoma Outlet (New)

We have been looking at the new Breville countertop convection oven, but haven't seen it for any less than the list price of $399. All of the coupons at places that sell this product specifically exclude Breville products. So, I called our nearest Williams & Sonoma Outlet this morning to see if they carry it and the lady told me that they did and that it was on sale for the aforementioned price. Seems like a pretty good deal if you are looking specifically for the functionality of this model (air fry + dehydrate).

I was unable to find this price listed online and believe it is in store only.

The local WS here has it in store for 399, same price as online.
May be its regional? What store did you check the prices at?

This was at the outlet only. Not applicable to WS. Call your nearest WS Outlet. I went and picked one up this afternoon. This was at the Birch Run Outlets in Michigan.

Looks like there are only 9 or so outlets in the entire country and none in CA.

I believe WS Outlet is usually 20% off appliances. I was just at the one in Nevada last week and noticed it there.

I ended getting my Breville Smart Oven Air from a local bed bath beyond with their 20% coupon.

309 would be a great deal for this oven.

Yeah. I have noticed that as well. Bought a Kitchenaid Pro Line Stand Mixer for 20% off there last fall. Our BB&B is not too lenient on the coupons and I haven't had success getting then to use them on excluded brands. Plus, this is actually $10 bucks cheaper than 20% off if you have a WS Outlet nearby.

See post a few below where I updated the comparison between this and the 800XL.

To have these new ovens already discounted makes me wonder if there is something wrong with them.

What's the big deal about this oven over the awesome (and much cheaper) Breville 800XL? The only things it has that the 800XL doesn't is 1 more cooking function (slow cook?) and an oven light. That's it. Weight, size, other cooking functions, Element IQ...all the same.

Seems like a huge premium for an oven light.

Comparison chart:

Your comparison chart doesn't include this new oven, which takes the top one from your chart and updates it to add air-frying and dehydrating to its full menu of cooking modes.

That was the chart the Breville page for this new oven linked to. Oops.

So, looking closer, it appears this new version has over the 800XL:

1 Additional Quartz element
Dual Speed Convection fan
Better temperature management
4 more cooking modes, including...
Air frying (essentially fancier convection)
It's also quite a bit larger than the 800xl at 16 x 13.5 x 7 in versus 13¼ x 11¼ x 5¼
Double the warranty (2 yrs vs 1 for the 800XL)

That's more like it when accounting for the price difference!
