Some games are knock-offs of the NES and such. I got 3 for gifts. Also, don't think these makes good flip values so it'll detergent flippers.

Yeah. A bit too small to fit.

At my location, there was one in stock. After asking an employee for help, I was told that it was a Christmas item, they haven't seen them for quite a while, and that the inventory must have been wrong. Good luck with the hunt.

Yeah. A bit too small to fit.

It could possibly fit a Pi Zero, as it is considerably smaller than the regular Pi line.

If it fit the Pi zero it wouldn't have the horse power to run SNES...

The manager (which is a good friend) said it was tucked away since Christmas and when the clearance drop/report came out, they made it available on the floor.

It's very tiny & runs on 3 AA battery. So I'm not sure how it'll power a pi.

I have not tested every single SNES title, but from what I've played, the RPiZ runs exceptionally well. The only game that I've experienced any slowdown with, is Starfox. I suppose this is due to it being a SFX title. According to Wiki, the SNES only had eight SFX/SFX2 titles available, so it's not a deal breaker.

Besides, the Pi Zero, is more than capable of playing many other emulators, such as NES, Gameboy/GBC, Genesis, as well as others, I'm sure. Certainly, the Pi Zero offers infinitely more entertaining titles in comparison to the built-in offerings.

It may be a tight fit, but it is achievable, as the Zero is very small. The power problem can be addressed with a direct USB connection, external battery pack, or for a more refined solution, you can use Lithium Ion setup. Sure, it will require some knowledge, dedication, and handywork, but that's what makes a project fun and intriguing.

Retro Arcade Machine X = 3.38 inch W x 5.75 inch H x 3.5 inchD

V.S.

RPi Zero = 65mm x 30mm x 5mm

or 2.55906 x 1.1811 x 0.19685 inches

or 2 9/16" x 1 3/16" x 3/16"
