I know PSAs aren't popular and perhaps they don't belong in Hot Deals, but that's where everyone looks. I know I've been grateful to see some PSAs in Hot Deals in the past.
Anyway, for those who have Disney Infinity 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0, basically my understanding is that today and tomorrow are your last chance to grab and download toy boxes for consoles (PS3, PS4, X360, XOne, Wii-U). When a company says something shuts down on the 3rd, I don't know if that means beginning or end of the day, so assume March 2.
"Disney Infinity will discontinue all online services of the game on March 3, 2017. You can still log in and enjoy your favorite Play Sets and create your own toy boxes from now until March 3, 2017. Thank you for everything."
I hope this will start a discussion and maybe we can share some info. I've started messing around with this on the PS3 and PS4, and it's tricky. Google shows no useful info in any thread I've read describing the 100 slots for 1.0 or the 300 slots for 2.0 or 3.0. It's staggering how little info is available for a once popular game. My best guess so far is the slots refer to the number of toy boxes you can stuff into 1 save file and they are NOT tied to your online Infinity profile. It appears every toy box I download causes the save file to grow. Sadly save files are tied to profiles, so if you download 100 or 300 toy boxes to a save file, you can transport that save file to other consoles but it would only be usable by that 1 profile.
I have no idea what the Infinity online account accomplishes regarding toy boxes. It may be solely to allow you to connect to see the toy boxes. I have more findings/questions to post, but I'm going to wait to see if there is any interest/discussion here or if this goes off into la-la land with the crickets.
