MintSIM is horrible! Just go to their page and click activation. Try to give the number on the top of the page a call. You will be put on hold and then told to leave a voicemail no matter what time of day! They don't call back. They have NO customer support except through email which they tell you your port is in progress then close your ticket. Been trying to activate one of their sims for a month!

Agreed. Their cs is non-existent. Tried chatting with them several times over the course of a few days. Each time no one was available to chat, and they said they would respond by email. Never received a response to any of my inquiries.

Sorry to hear. Activated without issue. Ported using a device never tied to any carrier or plan.. I'm guessing that is why.

I haven't had any issues with Mint. Less than 30 seconds before my number was ported. I've had it for a month now. Since its T-Mobile wholesale, it even works with T-Mobile's APN settings, has the same data priority as postpaid, and it has all of the calling features including conditional call forwarding which no prepaid carrier has. And since it's a vanilla T-Mobile SIM, T-Mobile branded phones don't have to be unlocked to use it. I haven't had any issues. Even turned on WiFi calling and it works fine (though I leave it off, I can't stand WiFi calling but if I'm in an unlikely scenario where I have no signal (Denver has fantastic coverage and always has going all the way back to VoiceStream) I can hop on wifi and make my call). I haven't had a need to contact customer service and I don't anticipate having to. The only time I called T-Mobile was for plan changes and billing errors. I don't have to change from my 2GB plan. If I need more LTE, I can pay 10 bucks for a gig for that billing period or 20 for 3 gigs. Couldn't be simpler.

I tried to select a plan for renewing but was unable to complete the check out and pay process, no purchase confirmation. Just a message saying that I have successfully selected a plan. Is this due to a glitch?

Sorry to hear that. I had trouble activating and porting as well. I tried the chat service on a Friday morning (around 9:30am Central). After I initiated a chat, I did not immediately get a response for about 10 minutes. I just happened to still have the page up while doing something else when I heard a beep, indicating someone had responded. They were able to resolve my issues fairly quickly.

I have not had any major issues with the service (aside from the somewhat noticeably less cell signal in my area). LTE data is slow sometime. But for $20/month, I'll take it.

Thanks for the sympathy. Device should not be any issue with porting unless the device is not unlocked. Mine was a Google bought and factory unlocked device previously used on T-mobile. You were lucky I guess. Its seems most people don't have an issue but if you do that's when there is a problem.
