Use code SPRING to save an EXTRA 20% on Reconditioned cameras and lenses from the Olympus Outlet store: http://www.getolympus.com/us/en/outlet.html

Example deals:

E-M5 Mark II body (in black): $576 (currently selling for $899 new)

PEN-F body (in black or silver): $768 (currently selling for $1,099 new)

M.ZUIKO ED 12-40MM F2.8 pro lens: $512 (currently selling for $899 new)

From the website: "Your product will function identically to a brand-new Olympus product, however it is possible for a refurbished product to have a minor blemish on the surface. We support certified reconditioned products with a 90-day repair warranty and 30-day money back guarantee excluding the cost of shipping."

Ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on 3/9/17

Kinda tempted on the Zuiko 25, how's this compare to the usual going rate on this and similar lenses (like the Panasonic?)

It is below the typical going rate for a used copy; you can find a grey market or used Panasonic 25 1.7 for a little less than this deal. FWIW, I ordered a black 25 1.8 as soon as I got the sale notification from Olympus this morning - I have been thinking of getting one to compare with and possibly replace my 20 1.7. At the price, the worst case is that I don't end up wanting it, and end up selling it for what I paid or a few $$ more.

Comparing the two 25mm's - the Panasonic is physically a little bit larger, though similar weight to the Olympus. According to a few reviews I have seen, the Olympus is a little bit of a wider angle than the Panasonic - whether that means the Olympus is really ~23-24mm and the Panasonic 25mm, or the Olympus is 25mm and the Panasonic is really ~26-27mm I do not know.

Kicking around the 45mm. Not a great deal but with tax comes in at about 10 percent less than gray market new on eBay. The 25 for the same price is of course a much better deal, but I already have one of those.

Looks like they took away all of the $$$ lenses before the sale.

I was literally looking at the store yesterday and every single Pro lens was in stock. I even googled to try and figure out when the next sale was coming or if there was an active coupon code.

Ended up ordering a 12-40mm on ebay from Hong Kong that at least came with a warranty from a well rated seller...but at 20% off outlet prices, I would have bought the refurb (with 90 day warranty) instead. But alas, looks like they don't want anyone getting the Pro glass cheap.

edit: nevermind, looks like I was just late to the party and they didn't pull stock this time.

I'm not seeing the 45 for sale.

Great lens, but either someone snapped it up within minutes of your post, or they pulled it from the site like all of the Pro lenses.

25mm f/1.8 used is about $225 and 25mm f/1.7 used is below $200. If both lenses are the same price, I would get the olympus because the build quality is better. But given that the f/1.7 was $99 for some reason, that was a no brainer

Ha, I saw this deal earlier today and posted it to a couple of Olympus shooter groups on Facebook but forgot to post it here. I was debating on picking up the 12-40 2.8 Pro since it was down to $512 + tax with the promo code but it looks like they're sold out of them now.

The EM1 Mk 2 is a very new model to the OMD lineup. Are you really surprised that they don't have any reconditioned models available?

I would be surprised if they have anything desirable in stock.

The Pro-branded zooms (as well as the 45 1.8) were all available at the start of the sale, but sold out quickly - as always happens when these sales occur. Since we are dealing with refurbs here, the newer $$$ lenses are logically going to be in short supply, though per the forums (DPreview and mu43), at least one person each reported getting the 7-14 and 40-150 f2.8 lenses.

Yes, in an insane scheme to not make money, Olympus decided to stop selling some of their more expensive products. /s

Come on, man. You show up hours after a sale starts. They're out of stock. Set up a deal alert next time.
