Which is not even remotely close to a similar example.

The fundamental problem (from a SD perspective) with these dash buttons is if using them as intended....they are locked into a specific brand and quantity.

That means there is no guarantee that brand/quantity is on-sale at that particular time, so you're probably paying full retail because your too lazy to take a minute or two to research current prices/sales.

So what you're saying is that dash is for people for whom finding a deal is too much work. Nope, not similar at all.
