You need to mention that fine print that says with purchase of vr-ready Hardware in the title please it's very misleading

From what i understand as well is that theres no mention of what that hardware is(rather it be a high end video card or a VR ready PC).

That's a lot to squeeze into the title line. I noted it in the first line of the post though. Also, many who are thinking about getting a VR rig are also planning on picking up some VR Ready HW to go along with it. If that is the case, this is a good deal for them.

I haven't gotten any emails from Microcenter in months. Even tried signing up for their newsletters again a few weeks back. Still nothing.

Edited title to reflect the fact that coupon requires purchase of VR Ready hardware.

Just FYI I went in and was able to just buy the unit without any other item, I specifically asked the cashier to ring up vive unit and then coupon before my GTX 1070.. then I just said I didn't want the 1070 anymore and was free and clear.

The i5-7600k counts as a piece of "VR Ready Hardware." Since it is on sale for $200, the savings on the Vive totally offset the cost. Additionally, there are a number of Z270 (and other chipset) motherboards that have an additional $30 off if purchased with many of the Sky Lake and Kaby Lake processors. I picked up the MSI Z270 Gaming M3 for $130, plus there is a $20 MIR.

I did not need a coupon, I just showed them the deal on my phone.

tl;dr Vive Headset + i5-7600k CPU + MSI Z270 Gaming M3 Mobo: $910 (after rebate) plus tax

I just looked up the Vive on the Micro Center website. Right below its picture on the product page it says, in red letters, "save $200 when purchased with VR Ready Hardware." No email, no coupon code required.
