Cost is too high for a non-branded, chinese tablet PC. This one seems fishy.

I have a 10in Teleclast tablet i got for $50 on a big sale. It's ok but only because it was so cheap.

Keep this in mind:

This Android/Windows device is designed to function specifically with the current Android/Windows OS installed on it. Any alterations such as upgrades, modding with custom ROM, rooting or flashing the Android device with other firmware will automatically cause the device experience matters as well as void the device's warranty. Please think twice before operating all these actions.
To me, that sounds like you're not supposed to install windows updates (Though its not like there is any real "warranty" anyway). I'd be skeptical of spending this much on something like this.

I am pretty sure same applies to phones - if you root them, you void warranty, hence why they do backups? this is just windows though

Agree w/ @Corrosive: If you want a cheaper Surface Pro-like tablet, Acer Switch Alpha 12 is probably better: i5 / QHD display / Keyboard for same price as this m3 / FHD / No keyboard...

Bought one at $475 when it was on SD, they seem to be $510 [ebay.com] now. Refurb, but still better than this tablet IMO...

5000mah battery. don't expect anything more than a couple of hours. in contrast the new Dell XPS 13 2in1 has a 45000mah or so battery. I understand there is a huge price difference but this is more to show what to expect with battery life.

Need to compare watt hours not mah.

Based on my experience with the two OS outside of this device, upgrading Windows to new builds will pave over the Remix OS bootloader, making it inaccessible unless you know how to fix such issues.
