Thank you. If anyone has purchased one, will appreciate if you can advise the activation expiration date.

+1 What kills me is when I buy a new phone from them, they still want me to pay the stupid $20 SIM activation fee -- even when I can just use my existing SIM. It's like a forced 'tip'.

Hard to beat $360 for a new V20, tho.

I hate that, its $25 now. I went to store few days ago with my own 2 sim cards and I told them that I have my own sim card, was told "NO", we still have to charge you "Activation Fee" and I said either you waive it or I am gonna to another store, went to another store and they waived it. I guess its Ymmv when to comes to activation fees. I swear, the manager on duty was a dumbass, seriously I am porting in 2 lines from Att and you are basically telling me "We dont want your business", no wonder why that store was super slow on a busy day, and congratulations, you earned yourself a negative feedback on yelp and google

Will the Sim card work the same as the 20$ Sim card you buy at Walmart for the 30$ a month 100 minutes, unlimited text, and 5gb Internet?

If you need a sim right away, your local Wal-mart may have the 3-in-1 Tmobile sim cards on clearance for $5. I bought 4 and was able to activate one on an existing post-paid line. The sims I got expire 12/2018.

Post the feedback on T-Mobile's and/or John Legere's Facebook pages. It'll probably get more attention with corporate.

I believe T-Mobile has toughen the SIM card policy after they are giving away free lines on 3/1. They used to offer free 3-in-1 SIM cards every once a while.

Good info.
I think in store they were always $5 (BB, Walmart, Target). It seems now T-Mobile wants all the business for themselves.

They were always free if you asked nicely. And the usual post on here for this sim kit is $1

Will this work if I'm already a T-mobile user? I'm looking to buy a new phone and I have a micro SIM but all the new phones use nano SIMs
