Well, guess not all areas are available in this price. YMMV. All stores near Austin,TX are on sale.

$2.05 in NY and NH. Note, the product is contracted to companies within a certain radius of the stores to minimize shipping costs which explains the variation in price across the country. It's also the reason why some get quality material and others do not. It's common for Lowe's and Home Depot to drive these companies to cut corners to keep costs low and will always result in much lower quality than name brand that is not at the mercy of big business.

I bought 2 pallets of heavily discounted pavers from lowes a few years ago thinking ...cheap patio. For me it turns out the pavers were only about 10-20% of the cost of the patio.

My advice...plan wisely.

Yeah, now i wish I would have just poured cement.

Weeds are an issue in central Florida. How do others deal with them?

So is here in Texas. I actually just buy these pavers for edge, I mainly use concrete mold like https://www.amazon.com/Quikrete-6921-34-Walk-Maker/dp/B000KKR8ZK/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1489264536&s... [amazon.com] and pour concrete in to make a 2ft by 2ft piece. Doing this doesn't require leveling the ground perfectly like the paver. I guess you spent a lot to buy the paver base and sand.

I did some work myself, then re-did again, and realized I was a little over my head if I wanted to do it correctly, so i hired a handy-man I use to finish. It was July in Florida and I just wanted to get it done. It came out nice, but the next year stubborn weeds started appearing.
