They don't go on sale. $50 off is pretty much it. I have the model from couple years back. Amazing electric mower. This is a newer model and self propelled. Would love to have it but too expensive for me right now. Maybe when the one i have dies.

,would love to have this too, though is almost twice the price of the push version. part of the reason why the regular cordless is push is because it's so light (at lest compared to all metal regular gas. so this might be overkill, but nice to have

I recently bought the non-self-propelled version (LINK [homedepot.com]) for $449, which is also $50 off the regular price. I have only used it a couple of times, but I really like it so far.

self propelling is definitely an overkill feature... maybe if your yard is extremely sloped. my skinny 10 year old boy has no problem mowing with the regular version

I have a sloped yard with a walkout basement. Would the non self propelled model be difficult to push up the incline. I need to use the self propulsion on my gas mower when mowing the back yard

I will be getting one as I bought the snow blower a month back, but was wondering if this qualifies for the free battery promotion when and if they have one later this year?

I have this mower and it's awesome. It's light weight, maneuverable, extremely quiet, and easy to use. Keep in mind that this model comes with the 7.5 amp battery (60 min runtime) vs the cheaper push model that comes with a 5.0 amp battery (45 min runtime). The battery itself is $380.

Honestly it is not that bad I wouldn't recommend if you have a ravine in your yard to use this mower. Yes this is a better choice for people who want a light mower to push this sucker is super light compared to a gas mower the batteries are transferable to other parts of their products love the quality this thing is a work horse for sure. I have a half acre lot and it takes a good two batteries to three to get through my yard but considering all the slopes and the thickness of my yard that's pretty good.

Be aware, that even on the lowest speed setting, the self-propelled still mows at a pretty good clip. It's crazy fast at the high setting. I've had the push for 2 years, and finally got to try the self-propelled, and it was an eye-opener to say the least. $50 off is a pretty good deal, and if you were thinking about battery powered mower, Ego is a no-brainer.
