I have this, I can measure it tomorrow. It's much better then the 6t rubberwood top that was clearanced out for $75ish last year (although that was still an amazing deal, I bought multiples).

At one point I bought one of these because their was a quarterly VIP coupon (back when they had some value) where this bench was 100% back in points.

The top is very nice and it is much deeper then the rubberwood (fixed height) work benches (heavier too). It is also adjustable, and while it's not difficult to adjust, I find I have to flip the bench upside down to adjust by myself.

A very good buy at ~ $200, which assumes you have something to spend the points on or can find something to buy with the points which you can resell for cash. I think these are normally about $400.

Good price for this item. I wish I were in a position to get one but I'm just not right now.

I have someone can take advantage of it.

solid workbench and a great price. note this has 24" "depth" ... a lot of workbenches are 18"-20" deep and sell for about the same price.

one thing though,... Sears could go belly up easily, so use those points ASAP.

it says 42 inch height. Does anyone know what if that refers to the lowest, highest or mid point?

That's a great idea. I have the 8 foot and just might do that.

Just FYI, this is a lower end model compared to the maple top one. Msrp for this is $350, for maple it's over $500. Bamboo one may also be higher end. Doubt functionality is any different. The maple one used to be on sale for $250 without points in past but hasn't for awhile. This deal should really be for someone who was planning other Sears purchases already. Otherwise it's $50 discount and $100 of forced purchases. I've personally run out of things to buy at Sears. Pretty much have all the gladiator stuff I'd ever want from all their deals and random free points. Even got the ball caddy!

Did Sears change its checkout page? I cannot see how many points to redeem later anywhere on checkout.

Hey, can someone measure the distance between the inner part of the legs as well as it's maximum height? I am thinking this would make a nice overtopper to a washer/dryer combo.

As someone who has never had a workbench, I have been slowly collecting gladiator gear track cabinets & accessories. Recently I purchased a bench vice and have been eyeing the drill press' with plans to get a workbench. This deal came at a good time for me. As a added bonus, it showed up in my cart w/ $118 back. $134 total back w/ the 100 pc speed-lok drill & drive set in my cart.

Here is the breakdown
$299.99 bench
$14.99 drill&drive set
$134.32 points earned

I also used $3 surprise points and $0.01 points
