I use natural gas for my grill. The old Char-Broil gave out so I was looking for something inexpensive for the coming grilling season.
This BHG grill is around $146.00 plus tax and free shipping to your local Walmart Store. Researched it all over and found prices in the $169 range and up! I believe BHG (Better Homes & Gardens) is Walmart's in-house brand for a line of grills they carry.
Anyone who has shopped a natural gas grill knows they are usually MUCH more expensive then regular grills. And often you have to buy a propane grill then the natural gas converter kit (around $69 usually) to get it to actually work with natural gas. Char-Broil ring a bell? None of their gas grills is "natural gas" but are propane grills that can be converted with their kits. This grill comes with the necessary conversion kit included in the $146 price. Plus, it is easier to convert a grill as you are assembling it then convert it after you have finished putting it together.
YES - IT IS FROM CHINA! But most natural gas grills cost around $450 and up!
I have bought expensive grills and I have bought cheap grills - and they all seem to last 3 or 4 years then KAPUT! - expensive repairs or you even just throw it away.
Manuals for assembling and converting to natural gas are on Walmart's website which I linked to in this posting.
Local tax will be charged so add that into the FINAL cost!
Want to use propane? It does that too and includes the regulator (but not the 20 lb. propane tank).
