I really want a monitor with these specs. I've been eyeing this specific one and it set off my alert. But I've seen it at this price a couple of times already. I'm hearing Pixio will release an updated model this year so I'm hoping this drops to under $300 or the next one is a huge upgrade.

Anyways... I've heard great things about this monitor. Uses same panel as much more expensive monitors. Great monitor if you want one now.

you're pretty much garunteed to have dead pixels unless you spring for their "pixel perfect" version

Do GSync monitors ever get this cheap? Also what do I need GSync for?

For smooth frames, little to no input lag, and tear free gameplay... Also if you have an Nvidia GPU capable of rendering images that fast.

I guess I'm just not that in tune with this stuff. I play everything on my PC and have never had an issue with tearing. Maybe its because my 1060 rarely gets over 60fps on most of what I play. Either way I will wait until GSync is cheap.

i Bought this last year at 280, and it is fantastic. The stand sucks, but colors / refresh rate, has'nt missed a beat. Cant get better at this price point. 144hz, ips, 1440p

Also, not one dead pixel on mine. Maybe i got lucky

One last note, the speakers are SHIT. Dont think many use monitor speakers but yeah.... just in case, they are BAD.

Thanks.

My bad it was $295, I tend to have a bad memory, sorry :hug

Like i said before, I cannot recommend it more, the added work space is GREAT for coding, the colors are great for my 3d art work ( color accuracy is essential ), and the free sync / 144hz is great for gaming , love it for CS GO, Overwatch competitive.

Waiting for ultra wide 21:9 1440p monitors with high refresh rate prices to go down. I think that is where the gaming market will go. It will be a while til we see 4K monitor with high refresh rates...
