For those of you who are considering going to Staples and having them price match, be warned that when you pull the printer up directly on the Adorama website, it comes up as 109.99. You have to add &emailprice=t to the end of the URL to get the 69.99 to show.

I bought this printer a while back and it's really nice. You can refill the toner cartridges or buy new ones for a decent price. Just depends how much you print. I just like the fact that when I do print the ink cartridge is not dried up or plugged.

A Hawking HMPS1A Airprint print server [hawkingtech.com] is a good drop in solution for that at around $50 (AR, frys), or you can roll your own using a pogo or a rpi.

Seems like a good deal but how about the toner prices, are they expensive?

Color toners are about $100 on average. Black toner is little cheaper. But you can find better toner deals on ebay or amazon. So basically toner costs more than the printer itself. See attached image from adorama.

One of those printers.. Where you throw the printer away after use as the toner is more or comparable to the price you bought it...

I have both. Dell has slightly better quality and that's it. This Ricoh is auto-duplex n last longer(toner), but much heavier. I haven't had to refill or repIace toner on both. I won't be buying c1760 nw anymore. I prefer this ricoh. I probably dispose them when they run out of toners.

I own the C1765nw and have been having problems with aftermarket toner cartridges not lasting as long, or just plain not working. I ended up refilling the OEM cartridge a few times but it too wasn't lasting long and making a mess.

Just got the Ricoh so I don't know what the toner mess is like but I know it holds much more and I'm hoping that refilling the OEM cartridges works well.

That said, for $69 I'm buying another Ricoh.

Toner for the dell c1760nw is much much cheaper. The sp c250dn toner cartridges are larger, but even when you factor that in the dell is still much cheaper. If you are getting the dell from staples check to see if you got the mystery reward.

Have a link to the refill kit you used?

I have this and it's a beast. It prints great and is pretty fast. Also got it for $70. I'll just get another at $70 when my toners run out. We use it only for color prints and have a cheapie brother black and white laser for regular prints.
