Seventh Generation Class Action Settlement

+138 Deal Score
41,365 Views

No proof of purchase necessary, although if you have receipts you can get more. I can't imagine anyone who saves all their shopping receipts, but no doubt some do.

If you purchased Seventh Generation products between Nov. 14, 2010 and Oct. 12, 2016, you may be eligible for payment from the class action settlement. File claim by March 30, 2017.

Eligible products include certain baby care products, personal care products, dishwashing products, laundry products and other household products.

The Seventh Generation class action lawsuit takes issue with the labeling of certain products as "natural," "non-toxic," and/or "hypoallergenic."

Class Members of the Seventh Generation settlement include U.S. residents who, from Nov. 14, 2010 to Oct. 12, 2016, purchased in the United States certain Seventh Generation products for household use and not for resale.

Class Members who file a claim without providing proof of purchase may seek reimbursement for 50 percent of the average purchase price for each of the eligible products they purchased (up to 10 products). Payments may be adjusted on a pro rata basis depending on the number of claims filed.

No receipts means everyone will wind up getting 5 cents after filing claim and lawyer fees paid. Afterwards. 7th Gen analyzes and realizes more claims were paid out than products sold in the claim period. LOL.

i bought wipes from amazon so i actually have a receipt. except there was an underground promotion and amazon mom discount so instead of $15 it was $5.50. maybe they'll refund some of that to make it even slicker.

I have amazon receipts also but the products I bought were 6 packs while the eligible products list shows items purchased had to be 12 packs. Seems silly since they are the same product,

I received that message four times, despite tweaking the form every time after each failure. On the fifth time, I finally got it through. I don't know if my solution will work for you, but you can give it a shot. Note: It's a pretty stupid solution.

Too Long; Didn't Read (TL;DR) Summary: Try changing the answer to the question "Total Number of Proof of Purchase Documents Attached to this Claim Form" to 1.

My thinking and actions I took that probably doesn't make sense:
I'll first state you can only attach one document. Despite my having multiple screenshots of online orders, I can only attach one document. As such, I used a PDF merging program - PDFsam [pdfsam.org] is my favorite - and merged the multiple receipts into one document. Of course, I then uploaded it.

On the form, one field reads, "Total Number of Proof of Purchase Documents Attached to this Claim Form." My original number matched the number of receipts I had. However, I then thought, Hey, perhaps it's a trick question. The page states, "Please upload all Proof of Purchase Documentation as one document," and there isn't a way to attach more than one document, so the only acceptable answer to the question "Total Number of Proof of Purchase Documents Attached to this Claim Form" must be 1.

Again, this solution may not work, but you can give it a shot. Please do report back either way. Thank you.
