Happy GearBest 3rd Anniversary!

Please feel free to pm or email us via slickdeals@gearbest.com for priority support. Smilie

Good comparison and reviews here: http://www.bestcordlessvacuumguid...omparison/

Which one should you choose?

V1: "If you don't mind not having the charging dock and scheduling feature and just want a simple robotic vacuum that performs well on bare floor then you'll get yourself a good deal with the V1."

X5: "The X5 is a great budget alternative as a robotic sweeper and mop. This is the best bang-for-the-buck autonomous sweeper and mop. This variant will not clean carpet because it does not have any motorized brush." - has dock/scheduling

V7: "The V7 adds a mopping feature to their vacuum system equipped with a motorized brush. The V7 is only capable of dry mopping because it does not have a water tank." - has dock/scheduling/phone app (Chinese but usable)

The V7 can do carpet and hardwood, however, it has the lowest suction power from their whole lineup. If you want one for carpet, wait for the A4 to go on sale.

i bought the v5 just to keep up with the dust and fur (2 cats and a dog) which it seems to clean that up great. I empty it every other day, but my wife does some home sometimes found it stuck. Hung up on the area rug from the carpet or stuck under the dresser. I sometimes use it in manual mode just to see if it was really stuck or confused that its tires never stop moving which that mostly what it turns out to be. The stairs detection and it looking for home once it is almost dead is good. There is time to time where it is in the back bed room and cant seem to find the door to leave and dies in the middle of the room.
I rate it being a great little vacuum to have for 100 bucks.. what more is a roomba really going to do that this thing doesnt?
I am tempted to buy another just to put in the basement to keep up with the fur and dust.

Roombas are already the worst of the robot vacuums out there, and this is just a poor Roomba clone.

For the uninitiated, a Roomba is a circular vacuum that works by driving in random directions, turning when it runs into your furniture or a wall, for some hours until by chance it's cleaned most of the room you put it in.

Compare that to, say, a Neato vacuum, which start at even lower cost and have been in the same stores for years. Neato's vacuums are square shaped to fit into corners, and have a LIDAR scanner that makes a map of the room around them. They then vacuum the room in straight back and forth lines, slightly overlapping, just like you would do if you were vacuuming the room yourself.

So they do the job a Roomba does in hours... in minutes instead. Every independent review shows the cheaper, faster, smarter Neato vacuums also picking up more dirt, hair and dust from your floors and carpets. There's even a good YouTube review where a guy lets a Roomba vacuum the room, then has a Neato vacuum the room, and the Neato's dirt bin is full of stuff the Roomba left in the carpet.

The same can be said for almost all the other brands you'll find sitting next to the Roombas at BB&B, Target, Walmart, etc like Samsung, Dyson, etc that also make robot vacuums. You get a better vacuum for your dollar by skipping the Roomba. The only reason they're successful is brand recognition.

I wonder how these compare to the Roomba? I bought into the hype only to realize it really wasn't that great of a product. Unless this product has learning capabilities far superior to the Roomba, it's probably just about the same. It wouldn't take much to outdo the Roomba.

x5 does, v1 doesn't. I'd spend the extra 30 for the x5 model.

A couple friends of mine have iLife robots and they say they're pretty good for the price, no issues after a year of ownership cleaning areas ~700 sqft

Most of the reviews say it's really only good for hardwoods, and gets stuck on carpets.

Any deal on the ILife A4? My house has carpeting so would prefer a vacuum with the under-brush.
