I had bought this but returned it before opening once i learned that it's basically a glorified demo if you don't get the Just Dance Unlimited subscription. Too much cash grab for me.

It comes with 41 tracks out of the box which is pretty standard for a Just Dance game. The subscription for $30 a year gets you an extra 200 tracks or so which I agree is a cash grab, but it comes with a 3 month free trial to test it out. After that, you still have 41 full tracks.

Typically no, the register processes it as either or. It would require a mangers override in most cases and so it really depends on the cashier/manager you're dealing with.

They should waits & release 2018 version instead 2017. At least 2017 Switch SE version includes all the DLC. No way i pay over $15 for quick old port version. Now they blame switch version did not sale well. Very bad marketing.

Want to play games that have been on Wii U for years but pay full price and wait months after launch to do so?

Want a system that has two exclusive 1st party titles and a bunch of rehashed, 2 to 3 year old games selling at full price?

Want to pay $150 more for a system (with controller and game) than a PS4/Xbox One that each have a massive library of games already out and already discounted to prices around $15-25 for games released a year ago?

Then head to eBay, Craigslist, or if you are lucky a local store, and YOU TOO can join the thousands of suckers to buy a Nintendo Switch.

Bought every Nintendo system (including all handheld iterations) since the NES except the Virtual Boy, this will be my first Nintendo system i will NOT be purchasing within the first year or possibly two years

When the system hits $199-250 and more first party titles show up (at least 1.5 years from now), then maybe ill consider snagging a Switch to play Mario and whatever new Nintendo games come out

But if you have a Switch make sure to jump on this deal at $34.29 because besides Zelda this is probably your 2nd or 3rd best option for a launch title, which is pretty dang sad

As a diehard Nintendo fan, the Nintendo Switch DISGUSTS me

Mario Kart 8 + Splatoon .... why werent those PORTS launched with the system?

Why do we have to wait MONTHS to get a premier 1st party title (Mario) from Nintendo

After investing so much money in games and systems from Nintendo (esp the Wii U), this is a punch to the gut

No internet browser or ability to play video on a mobile device = A JOKE

No mention of chatting or parties or anything online related = A JOKE

Then you come in here and tell me that im mad at Reggie?

Nintendo is a super poorly run company. With its multitude of mascots and titles, you would think they could easily put out a title from each of the multiple franchises they run.

Took them years to get into the mobile game and their biggest hit (pokemon go) didnt even give Nintendo all of their profit.

They just started selling Nintendo branded merchandise (figures, etc) in the last few years

Before that people would crave and fight for the Nintendo Club exclusive figurines

Nintendo Switch ($300)
Zelda or another game ($60)
Pro Controller bc im not playing on farxing joycons ($70)

Sitting at $430 for ONE game and controller

Or i can pay $225 (for a PS4 with one game) or an Xbox One for $199 with multiple titles

And all those Switch titles selling at $60 a pop? They are available TODAY at prices as low as $15-30

Why would anyone play a 2-4 year old game AND pay full price for it after all those years?

To play the game for 2-3 hours max on the go?

Mark my words this is Nintendo's last home console. They farxed all their die hard fans with the Wii U and completely abandoned it. Then they put out a rushed console that is severely underpowered to the point where Zelda (WHEN DOCKED) actually has frame rate drops and other issues. This type of crap shouldnt happen in a 1st party title which should be flawless in terms of frame rate since Nintendo is building this game for a new system

Even if they built Zelda for Wii U, shouldnt the Switch have more power and thus produce less frame rate drops?

Couple that with some huge bugs at launch and you have the perfect recipe for a disaster.

Nintendo will eventually put out a mobile console ONLY and will stop competing with PS4 or Xbox One for the home console market.

Put out a console, portable, 5.5-6" screen (like most phones these days) and focus ALL their first party efforts into one console (sort of like they are doing now with the Nintendo Switch) and actually develop software and hardware for years before releasing it rushed

What was Nintendo doing all these YEARS after the Wii U came out? All that research and development and time (bc honestly there were not many 1st party titles on Wii U comparatively to older systems from Nintendo?

So Nintendo abandoned Wii U with MONTHS passing before a 1st party title was even released and at the same time sat with their thumbs up you know where instead of creating a console that not only had some decent damn launch titles (since it is competing with PS4/Xbox One's massive library) but also was properly marketed and advertised.

So instead of saying sarcastically where Reggie touched me as an attempt at humor, realize that ACTUAL nintendo fans have spent 1000s of dollars only to get spit on in the end with the Wii U and Switch

That's why i REFUSE to buy the Switch until it hits $200 or less

I can play all the games on my Wii U right now UNTIL Mario is released sometime in the fall

At that point, depending on how good Mario is, I may buy the system

But i am not shelling out $430 to play 3 games (Splatoon, Zelda, Mario Kart 8) all of which I already paid $60 to play on my Wii U.

Oh yeh all those 3rd party titles that came out 2-4 years ago, I own them for my PS4 and Xbox One. So why would I pay double or even triple the price for an oldddd title. So i can play it on the go for a few hours before having to plug it in?

But yeh Reggie molested me and I have an undying hatred for Nintendo as a company.

If you dont know, now you know!

PS: this game is on sale for $20-25 right now (has been as low as $15 on Slickdeals.net in the past). So you are paying an extra $10 AFTER a massive sale for the Switch copy.

Sounds like a pretty great investment.

And people waited in line to buy this for themselves not for resale. What a shame esp those that have bought a Wii U.
So much gamer rage to basically say, "I hate waiting for Mario so I'm going to trash the system to cope until I buy one later this year."

Nice find op, eventhough the unlimited sub sucks its really the only game playable for little kids. My wife and 3yr old LOVE it

Switch is cool but way to many 'things' everywhere
I have joy cons pro controllers dock the wrist holders and grips all over. My xbox is one unit and wireless controller. Boom done.

Only people who sit in playgrounds with it on kickstand n play games in groups like the commercials are serial killers

I'm not arguing with your points against Nintendo, but look at it this way.

The Switch Hardware and Legend of Zelda were ready.

Sure, some major stuff like Console Prouction, 3rd Party App partnerships and Online Services aren't ready but is that enough of a reason to hold back release for 9 more months? For some consumers then yes. But for Nintendo then this was a good time to launch.

Again, not arguing because I don't recommend the Switch to people since I don't feel its a complete system yet. BUT... as an adult gamer who just can't find the time to play games anymore then the Dock/Portability of an instant-on console has made Zelda on the Switch has provided the best gaming experience I've ever had and I've logged in so many more gaming hours that I would never have gotten if this was on any other console. So, while I agree that so so so many things are disappointing about the Switch right now.... I'm glad its here.
