Does anyone know what states Acer charges tax for? Is it all of the states?

Oh. Did anyone outside of Texas pay tax? I thought the price would be tax free from them. Walmart and BestBuy's price is much better in this case. It's too bad they don't restock very often.

Did either of you two get yours yet? I've gotten mine, but it's defective. It has vertical lines all over the screen. The lines didn't show until after about 10 minutes of use. It looks like artifacting, but I confirmed that it's from the monitor and not my GPU.

I've contacted Acer and they gave me a choice between a repair and a full refund. I think I'm just gonna do a full refund instead. The warranty is only 90 days and it's not worth the $200 difference and lose the 3 year warranty imo.

Well if it makes you feel any better, mine came damaged. I get vertical lines all over the screen. Returning for full refund.

FWIW, i had similar artifacts trying to push 100hz, though it was fine at 95hz. Bought a high quality displayport cable and i have no problem running at 100hz now. the included DP cable is not very good.

have you tried the HDMI port to see if it does the same thing?

The artifacts show up on the bootup screen too. I've tried 2 different display port cables and an hdmi cable. Also tried it with G-Sync on and off, and on 60 and 100 Hz. The monitors is just defective.

Same here. The screen becomes vague after a few seconds, even for the predator logo. Tried both HDMI and DPP and both fails.

Ask for refund. Won't go for it, I think
