You could just buy the off brand refills for half that price and get more refills. That's just mad markup for brush refills.

So.. score right now with 1 comment is 21+ thumbs up, and is slickdeals front page.. Google "sonicare replacement generic" and save an additional $10 without rebate, lol. It's ridiculous that they want to tax people on using their brands. 5 better quality manual toothbrushes costs less than this nonsense..

edit : it seems that 2 people commented before me, but yea.. that happened.. slickdeals should just add a "advertised (highlighted) deal" instead of selling frontpaging paid advertising into community shared deals.

p.s. sorry Kohls, I shop there, love you guys on some great deals you guys offer, but this is not one of them.

edit2 : people are asking where to find quality generics. there are a lot of sources, ebay amazon internetjungle. Just fyi, the 20 pack (HX6014 ) at gearbest.com for $8.69 is not the high quality ones. I'm only assuming; I haven't tried it personally. At less than 50 cents a head, it may be worth it. There are good quality generics though.. If you don't want to do the legwork/research, buy it from Kohl's. It's frontpage!

Can you show me some E-Series replacement heads that are as good as the official ones? I've tried 2 kind so far and they've been lackluster.

For most brush heads you can pick them up much cheaper on Amazon or ebay, shipped to your door. Once you figure out how Kohl's works their sales ... you tend to avoid them.

Case in point: The wife and I needed a few replacement steak knives for our kitchen set. The wife received a whopping 30% off coupon in the mails PLUS she had a $5 Kohl's Cash. Off to Kohl's we go ... Picked up a set of Henkel's knives for about $21 with all discounts and after tax. Went home and, on a lark, decided to see what this set would run on Amazon. $16 shipped to my door!

Bottom line, Kohl's sells this set for $33 retail, gives you 30% off and then an additional $5 off and they are still more expensive than Amazon and ebay. When it comes to Sonicare E-series brush heads ... Kohls usually sells them for a bit of $30 for a set. With the rare 30% you are still overpaying.

BTW, who wants to deal with a $5 rebate?

It's not a community anymore, it's an advertising mechanism.

Do you have any links for the off brands?

is this deal only valid if you use Kohl's card?

off brands reviews seem like a mixed bag of experiences. most don't last as long according to the reviews.

I want to get this deal but hate dealing with rebates.

Truthfully don't put anymore money into the old e series. It has a fatal design flaw unless you like mold and bacteria build up. You could buy a silicone cover for it but you could buy a sonicare 2 and save more in the long run. I use to waste 30 minutes a week cleaning a e series. It's nasty. Then buy these

There are more than one model of handles. If it's the old e series is time for an upgrade. Nothing like brushing your teeth with mold and bacteria in the void where the handle screws in.
