Personally I'd go with the open-box model to save an additional $42. [ebay.com] I've purchased plenty of OB items from Best Buy over the years and they've always looked and performed like new. OB items also retain the original manufacturer warranty.

If people weren't okay with paying $350, I don't think adding $55+ will help.

If you're referring to the laptop trade-in offer, that obviously wasn't actually $350, required that you actually had a laptop to trade and involved going to a BB store to spend the time going through the trade process.

Just went to Best Buy to buy another Targus APA93US USB Type-C Power Delivery Charger as a spare for my Samsung Chromebook Plus, that was in another post on here and noticed the price when down to $420 at Best Buy, so I requested a price match to get $30 back on my recent purchase Wink

And Got another $10 gift card for my inconvenience...

You can't get a decent 12" Tablet for under $400... This is a 12" Android Tablet and Fantastic Touch Screen Chromebook for less than the price of a Tablet..

Terrible deal. You can get an asus transformer with real windows for less. Chromebooks are not worth this much at all.

The ASUS Transformer can not play Android Apps. It can barely play any decent Windows games.. Doesn't compare..

Reviews on early Samsung Chromebook "PRO" with Intel m3 processors are "iffy" with Android Apps... But the Samsung Chromebook Plus, which is what this post is about, runs Android Apps out of the box fantastically.

I own one and I am personally really pleased with it. Full featured Desktop Class Chrome Browser with web apps and Android Play store to boot! Under the price of a 12" Android Tablet, IMHO can't be beat.. BUT YMMV it all depends on what the user intends on using it for.

Who wants to "play" android apps. I used the older version and it worked great. It can also use blue stacks for android apps. You're misinformed about everything.

I'd suggest you walk into your local Best Buy and play with a Samsung Chromebook Plus. I traded in an old laptop and got a total of $140 off my purchase. To each their own, good luck with your Intel Atom processor on your 2014 10" netbook running an emulator. which can not convert into a tablet.

went with the open box, seem like a good deal. A mix of my iPad and a more full computer. I had a old old acer chromebook and it was pretty good but now that I can actually run android apps... I can't wait.
