Best to bolt it down to a piece of wood or something stationary. At the very least it needs to be stopped and leaning against an object in front that does not move.

The Wheel does not have hard mount holes I think but the pedal does.

the wheel was great it has a twisting clamp on it never gave me any problems but in regards to the pedals I have hardwood floors so it would slide allot. I had tried the pedals against the wall but the whole thing else life up.

I use a G27 pedal personally close to the front wall so I just have it press against my subwoofer that lean against the front wall. I do have something blocked one side of the pedal so the whole thing is solid and does not move.

The lifting thing may be it is too light.
Someday I hope to get at least a wheelstand ... something like a GT Omega or similar.

Do these actually make racing games easier to play? I can't see myself spending this kind of money on something that's going to make my games harder to play.

Makes em more immersive I guess and for me more natural to use a wheel so in a way, it DOES make it easier to play racing games when you can control your steering, throttle, and brake inputs in a more precise way as opposed to using the control pad unless u have really really good finger controls to hold inputs steady and precise.

That said, these type of wheels to me are just a gap-stop til you can afford better wheels in the 2-3x price range....and once u start using starter wheels, u'd want the nicer wheels. Then you'll want a racing cockpit setup to bolt down stead and have a nice seat to go along...........let's just say it wont stop at just buying a wheel laugh out loud

Called Best Buy & successfully price matched, Orlando FL.
Interesting to note, since Microcenter is not in FL, there is no tax, putting it at about $146 after the $6 shipping. Local tax via best buy brought total to $149, but the $3 difference might be worth the return convenience if you decide you don't like the product in the end.

Give it another chance, that was more of a checked swing.
