My 2 year contract is ending in may. Does anyone have a way to get good pricing for existing customers?

I signed up for 2 more years and saved $20 a month by adding a phone line, I laughed so hard. A good way to save some money is get a roku and use it at a cable box. It's not as fluid and perfect, but if you have 2 extra boxes at $20 a month and can replace both with a $30 roku you are saving $180 a year.

pretty much now they are making new customers bundle Internet with TV to get the internet discount because everyone is dropping TV since they raised it again in Feb and the broadcast and sports fee increased also.

are you referring to the xfinity app on the roku? If so, once the beta phase is over, you'll pay $7.50 instead of the $10 per box if you decide to use your roku. You'll save only $2.50/month.

I was thinking about that. I like the remotes that Comcast gives. I'm good with paying 172 after everything like I am now. They can take away all my movie channels but I think the HD preferred includes hbo..

Call and get loyalty. You will prob get billing right off the bat, just tell those outsourced script readers you want to be transferred to loyalty. They will insist on helping you and ask for your info, just deny them and tell them again to transfer you to loyalty.
And never ever fall for the deal that they can save you money by adding phone for free. It does not save money and the phone service is not free.
(Long time comcast installation tech, i get to see the work orders that show your "free" phone service)

Interesting. I've never heard of the loyalty dept. Is that the same as the retention dept?

Had a promotional package that was expiring at end of Feb and I called to see what they could do. They transferred me to Retention or whatever it is they call it and after trying to upsell me for 10 minutes they extended my current promo package for 2 years.
Also have a friend who recently got his promo package extended for 2 years which is surprising because we are in South Jersey out of antenna range for broadcast TV and Comcast pretty much has a monopoly for High speed internet and cable tv.
Package I have is Basic TV,DVR Box for main tv,HBO and 30 MBS internet for approx $85 a month including taxes. Their normal price just for that internet speed if you don't have a tv package is like $70 I believe.
Also have Netflix and Direct Tv Now to help offset the Spartan Basic tv package.

My wife and I alternate each year and open new accounts. I have never received a better offer as an existing customer as I have as a new customer. We are without Internet and TV one day, but we are usually out anyway.

That's the way to do it if you are living with the family. My excuse to them is I am leaving the country for 6 months so they can stop trying to sell me crap.

If I can ask a dumb question. Is it as simple as you call and cancel on day 1, then wife calls and signs up on day 2? Or is there more to this than it seems. Because now I am mad at myself for not thinking of this.
