Costco has the KS8000 Series for $1179.99. Seems like a great price as it is less expensive than the 55" Model at $1280 on their own site.

UN60KS800DFXZA Model

Includes Free Second year of Warranty from buying at Costco, 2 additional years if purchased with the Costco Credit Card.

Checked SL for pricing on the 60 and there were not many posts however this was lower than any other.

Vague Much? How? The 60 is made a little different and uses a sharp panel but if your maximum size is a 60 and you want a higher end 60" TV this is basically the last one. No one else is making high end 60" TV's in 2017.

The sharp EA01 panel supposedly has a slightly worse off-angle viewing but it is minimal. This panel also requires a slightly thicker bezel but it is minor. You can find about as many issues reported on the web about the 65 version as well. For every 1 bad review on TV's there is most likely 10 people that are happy that never reviewed. People are way more likely to complain than praise. Rant over Smilie

So, this probably needs to be merged with this thread - https://slickdeals.net/f/9891628-samsung-un60ks8000-60-inch-4k-ultra-hd-smart-led-tv-2016-model-1197-77-at-amazon-com-bestbuy-com-free-shipping

It is basically this price everywhere at least until 3/25. Costco is the best place to purchase from IMO plus the Costco model has more of a satin gun metal bezel instead of shiny chrome.

aside from having slightly larger bezels, it's a myth that keeps being perpetuated. i bought my 60" after hearing about this and looking deeply into it. the unsubstantiated claims talk about worse viewing angles, light bleed and contrast, and are based on the panel not being made in-house.

what they often don't mention is that all models of the ks8000 suffer variably in these departments, and all have viewing angle weaknesses. its a great TV.
