Love this game on PS4.... it's a good game to force your kids to play so they understand war sucks. The first time i played my last character hung himself. No wall running, no double jumping, no kill streaks.... just brutal reality of war sucking for civilians. And as depressing as it can be, it has good moments too... and is actually quite addictive... and fun!

Just looking at the video and the screen shots it looks like it might have a fallout 4/ value feel to it with using components to make items and survival. Can anyone vouch for any similarities in this because I've been craving some fallout style survival on my phone but tired of the vault game.

Does this game have in-game purchase? In old days, we only need to buy the game, rest time is to enjoy. But now things are different, without continiously in-game purchase, it's hard to play.

The only in-game purchase is the War Child DLC ($1.99) which also is paid DLC on other platforms. It's purely cosmetic but also raises money for charity, here's the official description:
Quote :
This War of Mine - War Child Charity DLC contains unique street art pieces made by artists from all over the world including: M-City, Gabriel "Specter" Reese, SeaCreative, Emir Cerimovic, Fauxreel and Mateusz Waluś. You'll be able to find all of them in different places within This War of Mine, building a unique in-game gallery. The compositions represent reflections on the human condition and the state of humanity during a time of war.

100% of 11bit's proceeds from the DLC go to the charity War Child, who focus on helping children who suffer from conflicts and wars around the world. The DLC was made thanks to the aforementioned artists, graphic artists from 11 bit studios and War Child UK.

I watched a game on youtube. It looks super-boring to me. There's too many rules on how you must build things and survive for 42 days. For example, it takes almost an entire day to build a bed or beds - you can't sleep without building a bed...no laying a blanket down to sleep or sleeping on a couch, I guess like in ancient times.

You missed the Android sale weeks ago for the same price.

I'm still playing it right now. It's a good game, but it's also a really depressing game. On my first playthrough, I could only play a few nights at a time before having to take a mental break.
