Klymit Static V2 Sleeping Pad with Pillow $49.99 shipped [costco.com]

Klymit Insulated Static V Sleeping Pad with Pillow $59.99 shipped [costco.com]

Get ready for camping season! Costco has $10 off the regular price of the Klymit V2 and V sleeping pads from 3/24/17 through 4/16/17. Both come with pillows as well. If that's not enough for you to pull the trigger, consider the return policy, given the chances of leaks on inflatable sleeping pads, I wouldn't buy one from anywhere else, well except REI since they also have a lifetime warranty. Edit: Apparently the lifetime warranty is no more.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

ehhh...im a member too at each and you are wrong. as stated above, it's not a lifetime warranty via costco. it is a looong return policy. but costco returns can be iffy based on a number of factors, and they really like to stick to a 2 year range.

REI has changed their policy, which was incredible before but was scammed horribly by unscrupulous campers hence the change. it is now 1 year
"We stand behind everything we sell. If you are not satisfied with your REI purchase, you can return it for a replacement or refund. Items must be returned within a year of purchase.
REI's guarantee doesn't cover ordinary wear and tear or damage caused by improper use or accidents.
If your item has a manufacturing defect in its materials or workmanship, you can return it at any time. See our limited warranty."

Now a manufacturing defect would of course be covered under Klymit's gurantee regardless so long as you purchased it from an authorized vendor.

soo... long story long... here we are. Just trying to keep it clear.

I have various different Klymit pads, and they rock. Price is pretty good when you include the pillow.
Like Manfjourde said though, uninsulated is good for summer and late spring/early fall. Anything colder and you gotta go with insulated, which adds a bit of an extra weight. I did sleep comfortably at 30F nights with the insulated ones, but if you are a fair weather camper, you don't really need that.

This is the standard version in size, Klymit also has a line called Luxe, which is essentially a wider and longer version of this pad. That one is considerably heavier than this, but if you are a car camper, have a big tent (Luxe is 30 inches wide) and you yourself is also big, that's also good. Luxe also takes considerably more air to inflate. There is also an insulated version of the luxe, but that is really a car camper thing, I think it weighs around 2 pounds.

Non-insulated version is really silent, vs other brands crunchy pads. Insulated ones are somewhat noisy due to that insulation layer inside the pad, but still lot more silent than the other brands.

For sizing comparison, I'm about 6' tall and can fit on this regular size one, especially with the pillow since that adds few more inches if you don't put it on top of the pad. Don't expect to toss and turn comfortably all night though, like any other regular sized pad, you don't have too much room to the sides.

Costco doesn't have a lifetime warranty, but they have an extremely generous return policy that lasts a lifetime (with some exceptions for things like TVs, etc)

Thanks OP, got the non-insulated one. I was looking at sleeping pads last week on amazon...getting too old to sleep on the ground. This one has great reviews and the included pillow is a nice perk. Seems to be the best price around.

Can anyone who has one weigh in? Is it a good budget pad? Is it durable? Light? I've tried to look up a review but haven't had a ton of luck finding one from a reputable sources.

There are reviews everywhere. Amazon, Costco, backpacking sites, reddit, etc etc. Most people say it's great for the price, plenty durable, very small.

It's a great pad for the price, if you feel you will be in an area a bit cooler then go insulated, otherwise save some weight and get the non-insulated version. The pillow retails for about $20 at best so it's a nice combo.
