Ebay has 8% ebay bucks with purchases over $50. YMMV - The 8% could be a targeted offer.

Use Coupon Code C20Spring to get $50.

A good compact camera -- 1" sensor, fast lens, decent zoom.

The same seller also has the G5X if you want a viewfinder and the G3 X if you want long zoom, or the G9X if you want something really compact.

Import version, so no USA warranty. Factor in additional cost for a warranty if you plan to be an active user.

Debatable.

I've been shooting digital since 2003 and have never had an issue with a camera that wasn't present when purchased (return to store).

But that does not negate the fact that these are without US warranties and if some one needs that assurance they need to spend slightly more.

Thanks for all the feedback about the warranty. Is that the only main difference? The performance of the camera should be exactly the same as the USA version right?

It's the same camera. Usually imported from a country that with exchange rates is lower priced in USD.

You don't have the 8% ebay bucks offer on your ebay homepage?

I'm trying to decide between this, Panasonic LX10 or one of the Sony RX models. This discount helps my decision!

Extra 8-10% Ebay bucks back are always targeted so not everyone will have that offer.

Me too. I have been debating between this and the LX10 for quite some time now.
