Really nice crop lens... funny quirk is the focus and zoom rings turn in the opposite direction from Nikkor lenses.

The opposite rotation takes some time to get used to. Although if Nikon doesn't get smart and start making better DX lenses, I'll be shooting all Sigma.

Pretty good first lens. Open wide, it's super sharp from 25-35mm. Stopped down, it's reasonably sharp throughout but soft at the ends (17 and 50).

BTW, 20% off makes it $240. I have no experience with this seller though.

I used this lens and the Sigma 105 Macro DG on my D7200 and loved them both. Upgraded to a D750 and have to get a replacement for that range.

HEY GUYS

For $250, Grey Market is fine.

In fact, any lens under $400 is fine to just go grew market without even thinking. If you buy a $1200 or $2200 lens, then buy the most expensive one. Most part repairs for lenses cost $300-400 bucks, so it makes sense. But there's no reason to pay $150 or $200 more for a lens just to try to save $300 in repairs. Just buy a new lens if this one breaks.

Just test your lens when you get it. Satisfied? Good. Not satisfied? Complain to eBay/PayPal. Don't worry about $250, most excellent lenses cost $600 or more. For $250, take a risk.

Where do you enter the code? Before or after commiting to buy?
