Still waiting for the day that we can use another computer as a graphic unit processor. This graphic card alone already costs more than a whole computer, why not use a whole computer to act as a graphic unit processor? Just a thought.

Nvidia also announced a price cut on the GTX 1080, dropping to $499 from the current $599 MSRP.

This is the new price already.

yea isn't this the normal price for this card?

Its been $470 a few times already.

Btw do you guys think the gtx 1080 is worth $150 more than the gtx 1070? I have a 4k monitor and my r9 290 is struggling

The 1080Ti's are (technically) already out, and NVidia already dropped the MSRP on the 1080's, this is pretty much normal price now for 1080's. 1080Ti AIB's are arriving in the coming days, except the EVGA FTW3 which is looking at mid-May, for those that can wait.
