Free shipping with Prime? If yes, you may want to mention it on your post. Non prime, no free shipping, thanks!

Speeds are slower as it's a USB2 port.

It will be the fastest you can get if you still have an older system.

I bought this for ~$20 when I needed one. I have 100 Mbps internet, and this adapter provided ~ 100 Mbps connection. Mine is branded ANEWISH, but it is probably the same flimsy made in China crap just with different vedors.
I bought a PCI-E adapter to replace this one because I broke it when I inadvertently touched it. Surprisingly, it still works after I put it back together with duct tape.
I wouldn't recommend this for long term use. A good PCI-E adapter should be ~$40-60.

Can you recommend one that doesn't fluctuate and lag? I work from home and need a more stable internet connection for conference calls and client demos.

I prefer wire for my work desktop and laptop (since my router is on my desk), but that's just me and my house have a million things that can interfere with the wireless signals. While a buddy of mine recommended me the DWA-192 (https://www.amazon.com/D-Link-Sys...B00PVDM6W6). I haven't used myself but others from here can possibly chime in. Smilie

Dual band. Newer routers come with both 2.4ghz and 5 ghz. The later is faster yet range is not as good.

Picked up the adapter-unique version of this about a month ago for the form factor. Works pretty well for the price, but be aware of build quality. Immediately broke around the casing when I nudged it with my knee - taped it up for a quick fix but ultimately returned it. Although looks like this one with the screw-on antenna might be a bit more sturdy around that joint area. Also drivers are on a mini CD.
