Hey Everyone,

The Horizon 3 Blizzard Mountain expansion pack is 50% off right now if you're an Xbox Live Gold Member. This was originally only available as a $35 (two-pack) but had since been dropped to $20 and is now 50% off that price, bringing it to $10 right now.

I love the expansion, they definitely got snow driving right in my opinion, though RWD cars should get stuck more frequently if I'm honest.

Horizon 3 VIP is also 50% off ($9.99) right now (thanks for confirming scgt1!):

The VIP pass gives a couple exclusive cars and double wheel-spin prize money.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

You're welcome. I know a lot of people were waiting for a price drop. I'm a little annoyed that I paid for the two-pack and they still haven't told us what the second expansion is. I'd have much rather gotten this deal for it Smilie

I thought so. When I logged in to the store to check it still said full price though (at least for me). I do already have the VIP pass though so maybe that's why. I also have blizzard mountain but like I said I bought the 2-pack so maybe that's why the discounted price shows up for that and not VIP.

Is VIP worth the price of admission? Do you just get cars and online events? I don't play online but I do think I bought this for FH2.

Are you already rich in Horizon 3? The best perk of VIP is the double wheel-spin payout. It's really helpful for people just starting out in the game.

Here are the cars you get "Forza Horizon 3 VIP members receive five exclusive VIP cars, the 2016 Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV, 2016 Koenigsegg Regera, 2015 Ferrari F12tdf, 2015 Ultima Evolution Coupe 1020, and 2015 Ford Falcon GT F 351."

I don't know what exclusive online events they're talking about (I haven't taken part in any), but I have seen them gift me a couple random cars here and there (nothing too special though). The VIP cars, like the car pass cars are free to purchase in game, not like older Forza's where you still have to use in-game money to buy the DLC cars.

Thanks Vanquished. I purchased day 1 but actually haven't played in a few months. I have a nice racing seat/wheel setup and plan on dragging that back out this weekend. Double wheel spin sounds good. I have a tendency to gravitate to certain cars I enjoy driving.

I did pick up Blizzard Mountain and will probably get the VIP too, why not. I put a ton of hours into FH2 and once I get back into FH3 I'll be off to the races.

Just to confirm, this will work on both the PC and Xbox One versions of the game, correct? It appears to in the description. Thanks!

I don't have Horizon 3 yet because it slipped from my radar. I wonder if the bundle will go on sale soon. I don't want to buy the VIP pass now only for it to possibly be included with the full game in the future...dilemmas dilemmas...

it has gone on sale a few times, the VIP pass is good for the early portion of the game and then its kind of useless besides the crown logo placed by your name (if you're into that).....it helps but for sure isn't necessary.
