Called Ring, they stated after the 30 day trial the 1 year will kick in. The mac ID is attached to a costco account.

Just in the first few days of testing this I can say the motion detection is too sensitive. I set to 5 feet distance and still got notifications when cars passed on the street around 30-40 feet away....

Mine came in the other day and just now setting it up. I don't see anywhere about the 1 year cloud subscription. The app just states the default 30 day trial. I'll look again in the box.
