How does this set compare to its Brushless counterpart? Is the Brushless set worth it for me to hold out on this deal?

*Possibly/probably*(?) Torque wrenches work by setting the torque on the wrench and then providing a fluid, even pressure on the wrench until it indicates you're at the set torque. They're not...

if freshly tightened and lubed.. yes.. if after road salt season.. no. But 30seconds with a breaker bar to loosen them a 1/4 turn each and you can zip them off.. zip them back on and final tighten...

my mazda 6 says 80-108 lb/ft. so this will probably won't be enough. from the lesson that i learned above, use a breaker bar first to loosen the lug nuts first.

I own a Bosch PS41, which has a max torque rating of 930 in/lbs = 77.5 ft/lbs. If the lug nut is torqued to spec & below 77.5 ft/lbs it will work. I have used the PS41 to remove lug nuts on a Toyota...

Yup, sorry, see edit in my initial response. I misread the specs and was quoting the torque for the regular driver. The impact driver is 930 in-lb, I.e. 77.5 ft-lb. And yeah, 1500 in-lb, I.e. 125...

This may be the one for you and sounds ideal by what you describe. You may be able to get an 18 volt set from a less reputable manufacturer for about the same price but this is going o shine for the...

I've had a complete DeWalt 12v set for 5 years now. I bought a house 2 years ago and I've been using it several times a week for home improvement projects. I even used the impact driver to dismantle...

We were all there once. :) The dealerships are notorious for over tightening lug nuts. They use impact wrenches to save time, and they don't care - it's not their car. They're always a bitch to...
I've had the set for over a year. It is a phenomenal value and the only thing keeping me from ordering a backup set is the expectation that the brushless version will be more reasonably priced by the...

Just one Phillips and one straight screwdriver bits. The Ryobi driving bits are cheap and about as good as anything higher priced.
