I didn't mean you twist the earbuds into your ear canal. I meant there is a ring on the earbud that you twist to increase the bass.

listening, now. plenty o' bass. You can boost the bass by twisting the ear bud.
btw, I did read that article and did have some concerns. after listening, no issues.
