I actually bought one of these and instead of doing all of that you can just swap the cylinder in your old lock and pop it into the new one and it works perfectly for me

Have you noticed they don't make a double cylinder version if you have a door with the window there's no way to put a secure smartlock on the door.

Schlage's customer service is really good. They replaced a lock set when I called about the user code disappearing constantly. They sent a new out with a box to return the old one.
