Do a search for CenturyLink service complaints and see you are most likely one of the few happy customers as they have lawsuits against them. Here in AZ. they are horrible. You were lucky.

Cox announced recently that they will charge $10 for 50GB of additional data. They also lowered the cap for higher tier plans to 1TB as well. I remember the 150+Mbps plans have 2TB a few months ago.
