5K miles is about right for synthetic oil. No need to do more oil changes than necessary. Engine oil is not hygroscopic, so the moisture thing is a myth.

did you purchased in-store or walmart.com ? as I got reply from ibotta that I have not submitted the receipt (i uploaded only the pick-up receipt), thus not eligible for $5 rebate

Update: So far I have received the $5 ibotta, $10 Walmart gift card and click through cb. just waiting on the mobil rebate now which I don't doubt will come through.

is it recommended for honda accord 2016 model, please advise. earlier I had 0W-20 Mobil1 full synthetic. the weather/temp is of dallas ( i remeber that weather also matters for the viscosity )

I hate Ibotta for screwing me also, check their playstore description, complete with come on for a rebate I never got, and likely many others never got, but they sure sold our info
